Christmas Countdown

4 weeks till christmas, eeeeekkkkk

im aiming to loose 7lbs for christmas, whick i personally think is very achieveable.

im going to stick to 1 healthy A a day and 1 healthy B along with minimal syns to maximise my chances of losses.

my fridge and cupboards are stocked to the brim with lots of tasty healthy foods and im going to cook quite a few new things over the next few weeks

off to put the christmas tree up now :D

Luxury Fish Pie

I brought one of the books from my group last week and decided to make the fish pie. It took a long time and was really nice, not sure if i would do it again purely for the fact of the time it took to make.

Baked Bean Lasagne

Now i know this doesnt sound particuly nice but believe me it is gorgeous and you must make it.

Its so so simple and easy to make. I always make lots and freeze some, as you can see in the picture below.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

Lasagne sheets
1 Onion
4oz mushrooms
2 tins of baked beans
1 carton of passata
grated cheese
garlic
salt + pepper

Method

fry the onion in fry light untill soft
cook the mushrooms, garlic, beans, passata for 10 minutes and then add the onion
layer a dish with the mixture then lasagne sheets and repeat the process untill all the mixture has been used. ( make sure the mixture is the last layer)
cover with foil and cook for 20 minutes
remove foil, add grated cheese (healthy extra A) and cook untill the cheese bubbles

I make this really regular and it goes with all sorts. I will add a couple of photos below



I also add peas and sweetcorn to mine to bulk it out a bit.

A few of my favourite slimming world dinner meals

Hi again :)


 this is going to be a post about a few of my favourite things to have for my dinner on the slimming world plan.

 i follow red and green days, which seem to work fine for me :) I no alot of people tend to do the extra easy days but i just cant seem to get my head around them so i think its best to stick with what i know :)

these are the things i have quite regular and really do enjoy :)
this is vegetable stir fry with slimming world chips
this is salmon, slimming world chips and baby carrots
steak, asparagus, carrots,mini sausage rolls and a gorgeous peppercorn sauce
jacket potato with beans and cheese and fried rice with onions
chicken salad with chips
salmon and salad, pineapple and a yogurt
mushroom strogonoff
salmon and salad
mushroom and leek risotto
slimming world fry up :D
chicken stuffed sith cheese wrapped in bacon and salad
steak, chicken and salad


these are just a few of my favourite dinners :)

My 1st blog :-)

Hello :D I've decided to start a blog, mainly for myself to look back on things but to anyone who may view this, hello and welcome :) I've been doing the slimming world diet since june this year and im really enjoying it. i love cooking new dishes every day and trying new flavours. i am on a couple of forums and get lots of great ideas from the members. As i say in my description, everytime i cook something i always take photos and would love to record the recipes on here as sort of a giant cook book :) ive done the diet a few times before but something seems to of clicked this time and im really loving it. i would absolutely love to find other slimming world members on here (if there are any??) and share ideas and recipes. this is just a short post as im off to bed shortly, i will sort everything out tomorrow and try and figure this all out :)
